A fast growing fashion brand, is seeking a talented and experienced Merchandising Director to join their dynamic team. As the Merchandising Director, you will play a vital role in driving our brand’s success through effective merchandise planning, assortment optimization, and strategic decision-making. THIS POSITION WILL INVOLVE RELOCATION TO SAUDI ARABIA.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive merchandising strategies that align with the brand’s objectives and financial targets.
  • Oversee the entire merchandise planning process, including assortment planning, inventory management, and pricing strategies.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with design, production, and sales teams to ensure seamless coordination and alignment across all departments.
  • Manage the buying process, including vendor selection, negotiation, and relationship management to optimize costs and maintain quality standards.
  • Conduct regular sales and inventory analysis to monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend actionable strategies.
  • Lead a team of merchandising professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, such as suppliers, retailers, and industry professionals, to stay informed about market dynamics and capitalize on emerging trends.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Merchandising Director or in a similar leadership role within the fashion industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of merchandise planning, buying, and assortment optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and consumer insights.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in merchandising software and Microsoft Office Suite.

 We need certain personal information primarily to allow us to perform our contract with you and to enable us to comply with legal obligations. Information About Criminal Convictions
 We will only collect information about criminal convictions if it is appropriate given the nature of the role and where we are legally able to do so. Where appropriate, we will collect information about criminal convictions as part of the recruitment process or we may be notified of such information directly by you. We will use information about criminal convictions and offences usually where such processing is necessary to carry out our obligations and provided we do so in line with our contractual obligations to our clients and candidates.

Automated Decision-Making
 You will not be subject to decisions that will have a significant impact on you based solely on automated decision-making, unless we have a lawful basis for doing so and we have notified you.

DATA SHARING

We may have to share your data with third parties, including prospective employers, third-party service providers and other entities in the group. We require third parties to respect the security of your data and to treat it in accordance with the law.

We do not allow our third-party service providers to use your personal data for their own purposes. How long will you use my information for?

No fee usually required
