As the Head of Human Resources, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the HR function in North Africa. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of local employment laws and cultural nuances, as well as the ability to align HR strategies with business objectives. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a positive workplace culture, attracting top talent, and driving employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team, ensuring effective delivery of HR services.
- Oversee recruitment and talent acquisition processes to attract and retain top talent in the region.
- Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations.
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance management.
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and overall workplace culture.
- Collaborate with regional and global HR teams to ensure consistency in HR practices.
- Analyze HR metrics and trends to make data-driven decisions and recommendations.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of company-wide HR policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus.
- A number of years of experience in HR leadership roles, preferably in a multinational company.
- Strong understanding of North African employment laws and cultural dynamics.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business success.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in managing a diverse workforce and fostering an inclusive workplace.
- Proficient in HRIS and other HR-related software.
