**Key Responsibilities:**
Venue Management: Oversee the operation and maintenance of flagship venues, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards. Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
Event Strategy: Develop and implement a strategic plan for all events hosted at the venue, aligning with the company’s vision and goals. Ensure a diverse and innovative event calendar that attracts high-profile clients and audiences.
Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of event managers, coordinators, and support staff. Foster a culture of excellence, creativity, and collaboration within the team.
Budget Management: Oversee event budgets, ensuring all events are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining high standards of service and quality.
Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their expectations are exceeded. Build and maintain long-term relationships that result in repeat business and positive word-of-mouth.
Operational Excellence: Develop and enforce operational policies and procedures that ensure the smooth execution of events. Implement best practices in event logistics, safety, and customer service.
Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events and the venue, ensuring maximum visibility and attendance. Contribute to the development of promotional materials and campaigns.
Innovation and Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations, ensuring our venue and events remain cutting-edge and competitive. Introduce new concepts and technologies to enhance the guest experience.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 7 years in event management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role overseeing large-scale venues or events.
Skills: Exceptional organizational and project management skills. Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Leadership: Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing and mentoring diverse teams. Ability to make strategic decisions under pressure.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, vendors, and team members at all levels.
Financial Acumen: Strong budgeting and financial management skills, with experience in P&L oversight.
Creativity: A flair for innovation and creativity, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional event experiences.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in event management, hospitality, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
