Leading retailer looking to appoint a commercial performance analyst.
The Role –
·Drives commercial team performance through regular meetings, sharing optimisation reporting and analysis to ensure we maximise our targeted commercial outcomes
·Report performance and collate narrative from the commercial team, including challenges and opportunities to deliver consistency and depth of insights to the organisation
·Supports Senior Managers to deliver the commercial team strategy through alignment across the verticals to key KPIs maximising addressable opportunities and risks to budget
·Supports the Managers in delivery of success stories to the providers and uses insights to drive accountability of Managers at provider level
·Challenges the status quo in the Commercial Team
·Works closely with the Data Analysis Team to ensure reporting and outputs are maximised further supporting conversations with providers
·Manages and reports in-life and forecasts for all commercial business units
The Person –
·Highly numerate with ability to translate numbers into clear action plans
·Proven ability to interpret key performance data and trends and challenge key stakeholders to realise and deliver business outcomes
·Ability to work with and challenge multiple stakeholders across the commercial and partner teams to deliver long term, annual and short-term budgets
·Ability to understand the wider business context and strategy to enable assessment of performance against the strategy and plan
·Ability to synthesise and present a compelling narrative around business ambitions and performance in line with the targeted commercial outcomes
·Highly competent user of Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint and data analysis tools
·Experience in the use of Google Analytics
