Chief Finance Officer

As they continue to expand and innovate, we are seeking a visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive team and drive the financial strategy forward.

As the CFO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring the company’s financial health, and supporting strategic growth initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the retail industry and a proven track record of financial leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth objectives and operational goals.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the preparation and management of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic priorities.
  • Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including the preparation of financial statements, analysis, and reporting to the Board of Directors.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Investment Management: Oversee capital allocation, investment strategies, and financial planning to maximize returns and support sustainable growth.
  • Cost Control: Implement cost control measures and operational efficiencies to optimize profitability.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Act as a key liaison with investors, auditors, and other external stakeholders, ensuring transparent and effective communication.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior financial role within the retail industry.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the retail industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in financial software and systems.
