Role Overview: As an FMCG Business Analyst, you will be at the forefront of data-driven decision-making process. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance, to analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and operational performance. Your insights will be instrumental in identifying growth opportunities, improving efficiency, and enhancing competitive position in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to sales, consumer preferences, market trends, and competitor activity.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels.
Collaborate with teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement tracking mechanisms to measure and report on these metrics.
Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, potential gaps, and opportunities for innovation.
Work with the Finance team to create financial models, forecasts, and budgeting scenarios based on the insights generated.
Provide actionable recommendations to optimize pricing strategies, product portfolios, and distribution channels.
Support the development and evaluation of marketing campaigns by providing insights into target demographics and consumer preferences.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure proper data collection, storage, and management for analysis.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the FMCG industry.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and extract meaningful insights.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and forecasting methods.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying challenges and proposing solutions.
